Will you give your money to the American Heart Association now that you know the CEO is paid almost a million dollars a year?
What are the odds your money is going to research? And what exactly does the CEO do that merots this pay at a non-profit organization?

Well, i wouldnt give money to them no matter how much the CEO is payd.

I'll summerize this whole thread in one post.
>People get paid a lot of money when they deserve it.
>He gets paid a lot of money
>He must be doing something to deserve it. QED
>Don't ask me what
>You're just jelly

Probably to avoid having a heart attack from a low paying management position.
>>74399771
What exactly does he/she do?
>>74399991
Don't ask me what, it's gotta be important, or he wouldn't get paid so much.
Why don't you get a better job?
(Trust me, the entire thread is going to be posts of this quality)
It's probably significantly less than someone who runs a similarly sized private sector organization.

If only you knew...

Your original post needs more information. Who is the CEO? How many hours do they work a week? Where are they based? How are the funds for the American Heart Association spent?
If for instance the CEO works 60 hours a week and lives in NYC then the wage is sensible.

if you don't agree with how they spend their money, don't give them any. If your government is giving them money. Vote for less government next time.
