I know several people from grade school and college and even in my own family who are "liberals" and will resort to the most twisted logic or even lies to argue for whatever new control or tax on our lives to mold the world in their image.They are always the type of people who would be totally lost if they did not have someone telling them what to do and would probably go into the military if it weren't for the fact it's the one government thing they have disdain for.

Every time I hear more hysteria and apocalyptic predictions, I become more ambivalent.
I suspect that's how most normal humans feel. The media essentially went full retard, told us it was basically already too late, and now act shocked when the population collectively shrugs and thinks, "I have to pay bills, feed my family, etc. Why the fuck do I care if 200 years from now the oceans are higher and it's warmer?"
The liberal virtue signaling got louder and louder until it became a vacuum.
