The distinction between "death camps" and concentration camps aren't recognized by historians or even the Nazis themselves.
Dachau for example, is often cited as an example of a brutal labor camp that exterminated tens of thousands of people. They even had a crematorium for burning the bodies.
The red cross made a post war report of their work during the war, 1600 pages strong, especially focusing on the camps where they were present. There was no gassings or planned mass genocide.
