I'm not an expert but I read some time ago that when the Russians demoed the plane in India, the poos claimed the stealth implementation was poor, so if the poos were not impressed then that's got to make you wonder.

Even if it was, they will never be able to make enough of them for it to make a difference. The first flight was in 2010, and so far only 6 have been produced.
None of this matters, the technology has been developed to pick up on the heat signature that the jet's exhaust produces at over 100km away.
It's been developed by the Brits and the French and the Russians aren't far behind.
Soon the stealth and missiles meme will be over and we'll be back to good old mass dogfighting.

It does its job and its cheap,for a 4th gen jet. The F22 is a technological marvel but its also a huge waste, it was built during soviet times where the US was expecting symmetrical warfare against formidable foes like Russia. But since the collapse of the soviet union, the only thing its useful,for is in airshows. You dont need an f22 to drop bombs on mudshits in Afghanistan
