The Holstebro city court has found a 22-year-old asylum seeker guilty in a court case of indecent assault of a 10-year-old boy.
It was ruled to be an assault when a 22-year-old man groped a 10-year-old’s buttocks and penis in the shower room of Holstebro Water Park on November 25th 2015.
Holstebro city court has sentenced the 22-year-old male to 40 days in prison, deportation from Denmark and an entry ban of 6 years. Furthermore, the judge awarded the 10-year-old DKK 10,000 in compensation.
The 22-year-old male explained that he attempted to help the 10-year-old boy wash himself, however that explanation is not believed.
“It is mad to think that you can just wash another person’s genitalia, regardless of which culture you come from. You should know that it is infringing.” told the prosecutor, Soren Klovborg, according to Holstebro Daily.
The 22-year-old male is Iranian and arrived in Denmark in October 2015. He has requested time to consider whether or not to appeal the sentence writes Holstebro Daily.
