It's funny because Doug Walker also said the trailer looked shit in an editorial about trailers.
Maybe it's that he insulted the movie as only a part of a bigger video and it flew under the radar, or he released the video at a time when there wasn't as much interest, or he just plain got lucky.
You have to remember, when you find yourself at the end of an internet mob, it's only because you were in the wrong place, at the wrong time, in the wrong climate. Not everyone who goes out into the rain gets struck by lightning, but god help you if you are that unlucky one.
