Here's why Americans would benefit greatly:
Alberta has a lot of oil and natural resources to contribute to the American economy. We are the only province that makes a surplus even when the economy is down.
We would most definitely vote Conservative. With 29/34 conservative voting in Canada's last election, we'd fit right in.
It would be the right thing to do. Every single day, the fires rage on in Alberta, Canada, watched by a government bent on inaction. The valuable people and resources of Alberta must be protected.
We are a very conservative province in a Liberal Leftist country. We need to be rescued.
We can make this continent a little more American.
We would be proud and hard working Americans.

If you have the energy to do it, you should start dropping propaganda leaflets on the people displaced in alberta to drive them towards an annexation movement. read up on how Hitler rose to power, read Roman history, and Machiavelli's analysis on Rome in Discourses on Livy. Another chance might come in the future for an uprising where you might be ready. Reigniting the seperatist movement in Quebec would be a good way to cause a split up. Its doable, and long overdue, our government is corrupt oligarch, means its time for them to step down.
