Just steer clear of Freud and Vygotsky and you'll be fine. Get into Methodological Behaviorism, Watson and Pavlov are pretty based, and it is the closest you will get to real science.

Psychology as a "science" is completely worthless. They effectively go around "proving" things that anyone capable of intuitive understanding of humans would know. Here in Brazil we barely have any exposition to Jung, because of some purges that we had during our dictatorship, but from what little i have read on him on my own, he is Freud-lite, and has less of a fixation on Oedipus Complex and actually tries to explain some other phenomena. Not too big into him so can't tell you much.
Skinner's Radical Behaviorism is also cool, it takes Watson's and Pavlov's Behaviorism and implements the subjective aspect of the mind, but that also means it has less scientific accuracy.
