In Antarctica? Not to my knowledge, no. It can't hurt to look though, at the very least they'll be some interesting fossils and possibly preserved specimens of plants and animals of the past worth checking out.
I'm pretty /x/ when it comes to the lost history of humanity though, so my hope for finding evidence is biased there I'll admit, but even if there's nothing of that sort it's still worth looking.

It's cool anon. My /x/-tier hope would be some evidence of human activity from pre-history, even if it was just old firepits or something, but it's unlikely. Fossils are another story entirely, I'd love it if they found some preserved specimens in ice like the frozen mammoths that have been found here and there for decades. Even finding extinct plant matter is pretty cool to me, recovering lost genetic lines is sci-fi level interesting to me.
