an actual simulation wouldn't scale very well, unless it was relative (1:1/2). you could always discount something smaller due to volume effects, such as available oxygen to feed the elevator shafts running to the fuel fire, and the pressure differences between those shafts at ground to top floors that are reciprocal systems. someone would find a way to muddy the results is all. even at 1/2, the fuel could possibly achieve similar temperatures, yet the steel and supporting structure would be compromised at a faster rate. full scale would be the only telling results and that's ridiculous. a thorough peer-reviewed computer sim might be enough, but who's going to supply the resources? an american body would, then everyone would scream about tampering. the whole concept won't work, too much politics and not enough cash to make it practical.
