Most his his shots were from within 12". Firing from the hip is non-issue if you just go around executing stationary targets.
The victims just sat there confused and did not understand what was going on. One person shouted "that's not funny" and another yelled "not here!" as he calmly put the gun from one persons head to another an executed them.
