Well that's my degree but I actually work in optoelectronics now designing lasers (to be sent in fiber optics so there's a link).
Overall breddy good. I like my job and I've not yet in two years been caught saying how much I hate it which is better than 90% of people. We still publish some things in research papers in spite of being the latest stage before mass production, which is unusual in industry.
