In general people don't have interesting hobbies or do unique activities. I don't expect students to do more than partying and studying but there rarely are exiting people among them.
Adults generally only care about their house, career and the car they lease. There some kind of need to impress too. The German middle class is probably the most bland alongside Japan.

Most young guys/girls know 3 languages at least, and are smart.
The smarter they are, the more open and friendly. The dumb ones who don't know any English just get aggressive and talk shit as if I don't know any Deutsch words.
With the girls, I had to become sort of popular and create a value for myself before they even wanted to really talk to me. Now that I'm sort of known I can pull girls pretty easily and it's much easier than it was for me in America. They like me because Im blonde blue eyes sort of German looking but then hear me talk and are excited to be able to use their English skills.
I like germans better than Americans for friends/company. If you walk into a coffee shop everyone says hello/goodbye to eachother here, but in america you won't be acknowledged.

I completely agree with this, when I came to America for college there was a culture shock of diverse media, like all the radio talk shows and radio stations play different types of music. Of course you also have all the film, and news pundits who express different opinions.
