You've got to remember that when Ahnold became governor of California, he was still a very popular, very marketable movie star.
That's no longer the case. Having Arnold Schwarzenegger in your movie is no longer a guarantee of box-office success, and I think that likewise, having him on your Presidential ticket brings no guarantees either.
Arnold survived the political process in California because they don't care about people's sexual dalliances in Cali, it's a non-issue. Nationwide, though, I think you'd hear quite a lot about Arnold's distant past doing soft porn, and a lot about rumors of homosexual liaisons - which could be a non-issue except for the fact that he has denied it - and it wouldn't surprise me at all if Hillary was able to dig up one of Arnold's male ex-lovers and make a debacle of the entire election.
