Here the public doctors are useless. They killed my grandfather, they killed my grandmother, they killed my aunt, and they almost killed me. I go to the hospital, stagger in unable to breathe, and they hand me forms to fill out. I lie there suffocating for 12 hours before a nurse comes over. Not to treat me, just to see if I am dead so that they can roll my corpse into the dumpster and put another dying man on the bed. Unfortunately for her, I live, and survive long enough for someone competent enough to fix my lungs to show up. I was young and healthy and even then I am almost killed by them.
And still I pay them. Not directly, when I need treatment, but all the time. They take money that I earn to pay for this decrepit horseshit whether I need it or not, and then when I do need it it is worthless. Fuck public healthcare.
