what is the necessary level of statism?
>>
Just to protect borders, military, police, and property rights. Maybe roads
>>
Military, Police, Courts on federal level, basic infrastructure on regional level.
>>
None. It's a slippery slope.

>>74063751
>basic infrastructure

all of those terms can easily be widened to any level. its a very slippery ground

on the other hand, being a pure libertarian is definatly useful idiot tier
>>
>>74063606
liberterianism would never work because statist countries would back their own compaines and crush u
>>

If giving freedom to the people is what you see as useful idiocy, then yes.
>>
You can't have many people in a stateless society.

Not even tens of thousands.

>If giving freedom to the people is what you see as useful idiocy

going full libertarian means Mad Max level of society, society should strive for libertarianism but there needs to be at least 0.5% of state in order not to turn liberty into anarchy

I agree. Anarcho-Capitalism won't work, but our current level of government is beyond reasonable.

>useful idiocy

also, there is that naivity within libertarian crowd, especially visible in the fact that they treat all other members of society as libertarians. Many "rightwingers" lean libertaarian but it can be counterproductive in many ways.
When you really take libertarianism literally you end up with fedora type useful idiots

Good goy! You definitely need some sort of centralized and mandatory decision making on how the money you earn should be spent.
Don't you know that government magically multiplies the effect of all the money you give them? Why not give them as much as you can?
Don't be so silly and question the need for them! After all it's you who elects them!

It's for the greater good, goy!
>>
>>74064378
you are new here arent you? ...but you are on the right path. cheers!

It's not just the taxes (while being a big part of the problem). An example:
It's illegal in Germany to pass a vehicle on the right. If you are in a traffic jam and your (the right) line is faster than the one to your left, making you now passing vehicles on the right, you can be fined €100 if you exceed a certain speed.

Someone thought this to be a good idea, wrote it into a law and other approved of it. All of these men were paid a nice sum to do so. This is madness.

Not new, more like someone who spent too much time here and is already beginning to feel sick.

Also condescending pieces of shit like you should be browsing reddit or somewhere else, not this place.

>>
I'd rather be borderline no government than be borderline Orwellian nightmare.
