If you live in the northern hemisphere, then the sun will be in a southish direction.
It's not hard to guess the way north is supposed to be.
If it's in the morning, then you take the sun, turn somewhat right and then turn 180.
If it's in the evening, then you take the sun, turn somewhat left and turn 180.
Or you could just know where North is by feeling the magnetic fields of the earth like a normal fucking person.
