What trade? What city?
I'm in a trade. Great pay, full benefits. I get emails on a monthly basis from business owners I know through LinkedIn asking me if I'd be interested in coming in for an interview.

I'm guessing this is a Canadian thing? I dropped out of college in '09 and half-assed my way through trade school. Licensed industrial plumber strait out of school along with 90% of my class. Demand is insane for skilled tradesmen. We're still way under-staffed.

USA USA USA USA USA
Seriously, the reason is that our baby boomers are retiring en masse. I could get hired and fired by different companies on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday next week and have a job on Friday.
I ain't no dummy; knew exactly what the fuck I was doing. BRB GONNA GO WORK IN MY BIG ASS YARD.

Exactly. I know very little about other trades but plumbing is obscenely in-demand. I turn down work on the regular and the bennies are phenomenal. Pay isn't hebe-tier, but It's good enough for raising four kids with a stay at home wife.

Exactly. The guy I apprenticed under always said, "It never made me rich but I never had to worry about paying for my next meal."
I've only ever wanted a simple living that didn't involve sitting in front of a computer all day.
Just about everyone on 4 chan makes around 100k a year.
