Why the fuck doesn't our government make public companies?
They can provide much needed competition in some fields where there is little or none, and offer a way to increase guv revenue without increasing taxes, eventually leading to decreased taxes even. We have current examples too in the postal exchange and Tennessee's fiber internet industry.
