We don't get many here in Hong Kong, but I'll be going to university in Leicester soon (which is like the islamic capital of the UK apparently) so im kinda curious.

As a group? A big problem, put simply. For most devout Muslims, particularly in the West, they have it drilled into them from a young age that they are some kind of spiritual master race in a degenerate society.
This leads them to, at least subconsciously (if not explicitly), resent the society they find themselves in. The result is that they self-segregate and, as is happening in Britain, form a parallel society.
This is evident in the parallel legal system that now exists in Britain for family law and probate, not to mention the myriad of Islamic schools that run rip-shod over the requirements of British schools generally.
Moreover, the younger generation have drawn into radicalism, which has been further enabled by liberals. You should see what some of these British university Muslim societies churn out.
It's a fault line in Europe that's ever deepening.
