It was nice.
A little bit up our own arse, thinking too highly of ourselves. And perhaps a bit cowardly considering the whole "neutrality thing" during the great wars. But all in all it was a nice place to live in and we were a pretty decent folk. It's enough to look at the US of A and see how we did over there: Not exactly your typical welfare-demanding islamist that we have to deal with today. Instead we were hard working and independent from day one.
Today, Sweden is fucked. The only thing that might save us is that it becomes so shitty that the squatters move back home to their own shitty lands again. But regardless of this they've unfortunately rooted here now, with a second (and a third, even) generation already being bred here. So, it's over.

I often go to Sweden for fishing and camping trips. I go full on /out/ mode. The lakes are wonderful. We have shitloads of lakes too. I just like to go to a different country sometimes.
I go way up north and it's usually cold. I always go on my own and enjoy the solitude. I go right back to basics - setting up shelter, making fire, catching fish, foraging for plants and berries, mushrooms etc. I always carry some tins of food like beans, corned beef, tuna fish etc. And water purification tablets (they taste like shit), but the water I collect is always clean. Normally just boiling it will kill anything nasty.
I haven't gone to Malmö and only been to Stockholm a couple of times. I avoid the towns and cities as I go there for the countryside. And to test my abilities to survive in a remote landscape. I have met some lovely Swedish people. So friendly.
I love going to Sweden. English countryside is also beautiful. Pic is where I live. Fuck the cities.
