It depends on how wrong. Serious crimes are never okay, and the fact that nobody found out about them means that you're good at hiding things. This makes you a dangerous person and necessitates your removal from society. So actually, nobody finding out about it makes it worse.

If no one ever knows about it, then it's not really a relevant act at all.
I mean, it would take something that even a potential victim doesn't know about.
If you murder someone the victim would know, for a while at least, for example.
If you sit at home and think about rape and murder in great detail and that's it, no it's not wrong since it has no negative impact on anything or anyone.
Unless you do it so much it impedes your daily life and associated chores, in which case obviously, it is wrong albeit usually on a very minor scale.
