Fun Fact: The Crown LEGALLY owns some huge percentage of the land in England which they would be entitled to the profits of if not for the fact that Queen Victoria enacted a bill that turned over the proceeds and lease-hold privileges over to Parliament under the condition that the Monarchy was given a fraction of that wealth as an allowance.
Fast forward to today and the Queen has to file fucking taxes and her income has been reduced to the point where they have to scrimp and save and make income off of other avenues to make up for the constant scrutiny that the relatively small allowance OF THEIR OWN FUCKING MONEY has been whittled down to.
