Iraq War 2016 - US Navy Seals And Kurdish Peshmerga In Combat With ISIS During Heavy Clashes In Tel Skuf, Iraq.
Rare footage of US Special Forces on the ground in Iraq during combat operations against ISIS around Tal Squf surfaced online.
The video shows the United States Navy SEALS together with Kurdish Peshmerga Special forces in a firefight with ISIS militants during heavy clashes following the recent fighting in the region.
Tel Skuf is a Christian town 20 miles north of Mosul that got overtaken by ISIS and was then assaulted by the Kurdish elite Peshmerga Counter Terror Unit (CTU) and US Special Force advisors.
The town was retaken but at least 15 Kurdish fighters and one Navy Seal were KIA during the combat operation.
The SEAL killed in action was the 31 year old Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Charles Humphrey Keating IV as he was trying to rescue American military advisers trapped when ISIS militants broke through Peshmerga lines on May 3, 2016.
