From my reading of what OP posted of the article, it's not that bad. The statement about "this is what unites..." "take care of everybody" I completely agree with. When he says to let diverse communities respond to challenges as they decide, he means that the fags in California can ban guns, increase min wage, and so on and so forth as they see fit, and the conservative areas of the country can live as they wish.
