Should i be happy if turnbull loses?

Liberals are once again the lessor of two evils
>>
>voting labor
>ever

Are these the remainder of the cucks who used to post on the Bernie generals?

For the HoR, there is no choice other than Liberal. As for senate, be very careful who you vote for. Small parties which have traditionally preferenced Liberal is now doing so for Labor. A good example of this is Family First. They've now decided getting elected is more important than their key policies like anti-gay marriage.

Of the two major parties, foreign policy is perhaps marginally better on the Liberals side, but this is up for debate.
As for fiscal and domestic social policy, Liberal is leading the charge.
Unless environment policy and foreign policy (especially foreign spending) are really important to you, I can't see why you'd choose Labor over Liberal.
>>

>And greens are for wasting as much money as possible
kek

>Labor is for the poor
>Liberal is for the rich
>As a middle class I get fucked either way.
desu I'd like to discuss this point.
Now, without sounding like a kike banker, I'd say that it benefits the nation as a whole to help the rich rather than to help the poor.
I am not saying to only help the rich, or that helping the rich is the best and only option. But rather out of the two, I believe that helping the top 20% of our nation will help bring our bottom 80% up. It's the top 20% that is investing. They're the ones starting, operating and running businesses and market places.
Say we hurt them so that we can all give the bottom 33% an extra $55 a week, sure, that's great. But that extra $55 isn't going to make them rich enough to create new opportunities, to invest in business, to invest in infrastructure.

pls don't reply with

Nope. Either one or the other. The next biggest party is Greens, and we all know they won't get more than 2 or 3 seats if the absolute best case scenario goes their way.
>>
>>73879100
I usually vote Labor, although the split of Australia's left parties with Labor and the Greens means that it is harder for Labor to get into power, it does mean however that the Labor party is able to focus on traditional leftist concerns such as workers rights while the Greens party is the party of choice for the progressive left/SJW types who are more concerned with the environment and identity politics.

Economic cycles are just that. They're cyclical. Yes there are booms, and then there are contractions of the economy, and then once we're conservative enough, we expand again, then we over stretch, then we contract again and so on.
What's more important in determining the ability is their fiscal policy. For example, with those good times under the Howard government, things we're saved (or invested. Which arguably is better than saving when done correctly). Under the previous Labor government, we saw gross overspending. Now, let's not get confused about this. The previous Labor government wasn't just in for a year or two. They were in for much longer. They knew what they were doing. They knew how much they borrowed, how much they earned, and how much they spent.
They blew it.

Once a budget goes into deficit, Labor has no ability to cut spending to go back into surplus. They are no concerned about "muh programs" to EVER cut spending, they just can't bring themselves to do it. This was true in the 1990s, true under Rudd & Gillard, and will be the same under Shorten.

They are all the Apex gang members, they are all the Jihadists

Labor brought the Sudanese, Somalis and Muslims into Australia. 3 years of Shorten and 90,000 more Apex gang members and Muslim Jihadis will call Australia home (and be stacked into Labor party branches).

If it's in your interest, be a cynical cunt and vote for Liberals. For example if you have a high paying corporate career, and/or come from a high net worth family

What happened to London, will happen to Sydney and Melbourne too.

Just look at Apex in Melbourne and Muslims in Western Sydney.

Shorten bringing 90,000 more Africans and Muslims is the tipping point of no return.

Unless we stop the Left and shit doen 3rd world immigration via the """refugee""" program, and keep the borders secure, we WILL experience a European style level of Muslim invasion, tens if not hundreds of thousands of Muslims, in addition to Shortens planned 90,000 that he'll fly in.

All Labor care about are getting new ethnic group members and families to stack into the Labor Party to beat out other Labor factions (who are stacking in other ethnic groups and families). They'll kill Australia like they have the UK if we let them.

>Your personal need usually coincide with the needs of others
Not particularly true.
I'll give a quick example.
I am a university student. It would be in my personal best interests to vote Labor. Because they would increase university spending as well as benefits to youths like me.
However, I know the costs behind this. The current working class would bear the brunt of this burden by either having taxes raised on them, or have taxes redirected from other programs to fund me.
I'm not willing to let that happen, because I understand it's more important to have a flowing and dynamic market place where the government doesn't constantly have to tax the fuck out of the working class just to make the lives easier for the few. Us students are not a majority by any means. The working class is.
>sensible unions
Quick reminder: although some unions are sensible, those working for construction and the like are not. They have way too much power, and the depth of their corruption has been proven. It's a cop out that I go to work to my part-time job on a Monday, but every second Monday our takings are consistently lower. Why? Because tradies have an RDO. They don't come to work. Long weekend every second weekend. Why? What part of their low-skilled jobs give them the right to have a day off while we pay for their kids to go to a public school?

Labor is controlled by ethnic branch stacks, whose loyalty is determined by payoffs to the ethnic leader of the group, usually an appointment to an quango, like the Ethnic Affairs Committees (and other variations) or if they are really good ethbic branch stackers, to the State upper house.

Just look at the names of the Upper House ALP members in your state.

Look at how Obeid started out, an ethnic community newspaper proprietor, who become so good at stacking the Labor Party with ethnic stacks, he stacked out an entire State Division and controlled through his ethnic stacks, a NSW Labor government.

Join the Party yourself and see. Get to know yourself the ethnic branch stack leaders and advance your career inside the party and movement.

if you think no unions = gook style sweatshops, I think you're misunderstanding the issue at hand.
Things like sweatshops are a particular problem in places like Bangladesh, China, India, Thailand and the Philippines not just because of lack of unionisation. But because things like massively high population+population density, as well as lack of other job opportunities.
Over in India, someone is happy to work for $2 a day in a sweatshop, because they know if they don't do that, someone else will. We're lucky that in Australia we do have these opportunities, and as our market place is freed up, these opportunities will only expand. Labour is a commodity. If a workplace opens up that operates like a sweatshop, and workers refuse to work for the boss, then it closes down.

This is Labor, a party ruled by ethnic branch stacks and totally alienated from ordinary Australians and their concerns:

>WINNING the Cambodian vote has taken on a new meaning for Simon Crean and Martin Pakula in their preselection battle for one of Australia's most multicultural electorates.

>Both candidates have been relying on interpreters to communicate with Cambodian, Vietnamese, Latino, Greek and Chinese ALP members.

>While challenger Martin Pakula is being backed by Hong Lim, the state Labor member for Clayton, Mr Crean is being helped by an enthusiastic band of locals keen to reward his loyalty over the last 16 years.

>Among them is Meng Bunlay, 31, the secretary of the local Cambodian Buddhist temple.

http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/crean-pakula-seeking-crucial-poll-edge/2006/03/03/1141191854001.html

Labor is ruled by ethnic branch stackers aka "ethnic community leaders", that's why they open the borders whenever they get in power. They are building up their ethnic stack numbers inside the Labor party and sending Australia to the shit just to do it.

Do you want all manufacturing to close?
Do you want foreign ownership of Australia?
Do you want to compete with cheap imported labour?
Do you want prime farmland mined for coal?
Do you want to subsidize the richest people in Australia while the budget deficit continues to blow out?
Vote liberal.

>Do you want all manufacturing to close?
If it can't survive on it's own. Yes.
It's not the taxpayers fault that manufacturing isn't economically viable. Why should we suffer for it?
>Do you want foreign ownership of Australia?
Nope. Thank fully the Nationals are against this. I dare say in the next term of government, we'll see this matter resolved
>Do you want to compete with cheap imported labour?
We need to reduce the amount of labour coming from overseas, but be mindful that both parties want the same amount of immigration. Only Labor is happy to let illegal immigrants in too.
>Do you want prime farmland mined for coal?
If it's in the best economic interests of our country, of course. If mining produces more dollars for every dollar invested than agriculture does, why not? however this'll slow down very soon, mining is becoming less profitable every day.
>Do you want to subsidize the richest people in Australia while the budget deficit continues to blow out?
Lol. I know I don't want to subsidise the poorest. Somehow I don't like the idea of giving my money to an ice addict that shouts at people on the train like a dumb cunt.

>anyone who can recognise the success of a neo-liberal market structure is a Jew
It's not the best system, but out of the economic policies of Liberal and those of Labor, it's hardly a competition.

That is how the Labor Party is run.
Ethnic stacks who through family and ethnix bonds are loyal to an ethnic community leader, who receives kick backs and governmwnt job positions from Labor once they get on power.

Many of the ethnic stacks don't even know they are signed up to the Party, and when they are turned out for a meeting to vote, just do whatever their ethnic leader tells them to do. That's the extent of their political involvement.

That's the state of play inside the Labor Party and why they open the borders up. Simon Crean won that preselection and gave a victory speech thanking a dozen different ethnic groups for the win, it was the Cambodians which clinched it for him in the end. """"Australian""""" Labor Party.

Are the liberals afraid to admit that the FttN idea was a mistake?

I feel like this is one issue where they had it wrong and were doing it just to be as contrarian as possible thinking they had a more 'economic' alternative when in reality FttN will cost 2/3rds of the price for FttP but only deliver 1/4th of the speed. It's a terrible speed-cost ratio that will only grow due to the higher cost of maintaining out of date nodes.

No way man. Noodle king.

desu, I think it was damage control. And I'm saying this as a Liberal supporter.
I think they had such pressure on them to go ahead with the plan that they just said "fuck it", and rather than totally scrapping the plan and getting torn apart by the media, they just cut costs on it so it doesn't look like they completely scrapped it, but in the mean time they avoid useless spending
Now I know some people are gonna start roasting me for calling it useless spending, I'm just saying from their perspective it's useless spending. There's no question that they're neo-liberal. They believe that it should be left to the free market.
Where you personally stand on that is up to each man.

This would be viable if we had a different type of electoral system. Unfortunately no one will do this, because they make a compromise

Sure I may support the policies of a party like Family First (random example, not true). However I know if I do that, it's likely someone else will vote Labor. And I know Family First 100% can't beat Labor, but Liberals might have a chance.
So instead I'll vote for Liberals, because though they may not support ALL my ideas, they represent more of my ideas than Labor does.
And this essentially is how you end up with a two party system

>ISN'T DEMOCRACY WONDERFUL?
The issue here isn't democracy, it's the way the electoral system is set up. I honestly recommend watching this video, and some of the other videos if you're genuinely interested in what I mean.
There are ways to set up elections so that not every voter has to worry about what the person in the booth next to them will vote.
