I'm going to post a quick summary because OP just dropped his spaghetti.
In short, it's a project about making working laws more permissive with concepts such as :
- putting a maximum to a compensation someone can get if he gets wrongly fired ;
- making it easier for companies to fire people by extending the definition of redundancy ;
- not considering hours when you're on call as complete working hours anymore (which means they are not considered when calculating your time off) ;
- making minors able to work as much as 10 hours per day.
Even though it's originally a good idea to make labour laws more permissive (to ease layoff is also to ease employment), this law is so badly executed no one wants it, absolutely no one.
However what really pisses everyone off is that the French constitution has an article called 49.3 which allows the government to pass a law...without voting. It's an aberration and it's the fourth time in a single term that our shitty PM uses this, which confirms that France is indeed a shit country with absolutely zero democracy. They don't even care putting on a mask anymore.
