Heavy fighter activity today and Monday as well. Monday night at Osan saw several snap base battlestations and MOPP 4 missile attack exercises with lots of fighter traffic in the early morning hours as well as simulated air defense and counter-battery fire At 1300E, A number of F-22s departed Lakenheath, met a tanker and proceeded east according to #POTN. Usually they conduct ACM exercises off the coast of Newcastle or lurk in the MACH Loop. At 1900E or so tonight, While listening in to Elmadorf AFB ATC I heard an air controller alert an aircraft to a pair of F-22s departing to relieve a patrol so there are F-22 air patrol flights operating in shifts in Alaska. Alaskan Red Flag just finished there a few weeks ago so there is not much of a chance of exercises going on. With the AWACS and fighter activity in Europe, if this is an exercise- It looks to be multi-theater. I'm not sure if that's done.
