Recently I had read an interesting news article regarding the supposed origin of the Japanese race.
There is an ancient legend that describes a tale of white fishermen getting caught adrift in the seas chasing a school of migrating trout finally landing on the Japanese islands
This was purely a myth until recent archaeology finds eerie similarities between the Japanese skull and early Anglo Saxon skull types.
Could it be true?

The skull is probably linked to the Yamato since you mentioned the Jomon age. Still, it would be helpful to have a location reference.
