Hell I made the mistake to go to /r/stellaris because I was looking for players' opinions on the latest paradox game. Damn, instead of opinions I stumbled upon a holy crusade against a guy who gave a bad review to the game (despite the fact that they aknolewdged his points were good ones...)
The way reddit works with upvote/downvote really create some kind of nasty communities with a mentality close to the SJW.
At least on 4chan I can be informative in one post and shitpost in the other without gaining more or less exposure because I follow the hivemind.
I do regret that a redpilled forum is closed but I'm not certain that they would all fit well here.
