You either die a hero, or live long enough to watch yourself become the villain.

China's Great Wall worked as intended. It kept the mongols and manchus out.

How did Ming fall? Civil war. One Ming bureaucrat opened the gates and let the rabble in. And once in they didn't leave.

So building a wall a la China is a good idea.

Libertarianism is great in theory, but it only works in practice if you have a uniform culture. The same is true for socialism, actually.

The problem with the Great Wall was that it was expensive as fuck and took decades to complete and it nearly bankrupted the Ming dynasty. It was a complete disaster and would've been cheaper just to genocide the Mongols.

Trump's wall costs $10 billion dollars. That's literally 1/1700th of the US GDP and 1/200 of total revenue to the government. That's nothing and will pay for itself in a year.

He's a Republican. And voting for a person supporting open border doesn't seem very constitutionalist. You'd think he'd support Trump despite his son getting his arse raped since he calls himself so principled he wouldn't allow personal matter get in the way
