Also why is no one mentioning the RS-28 Sarmat aka SATAN 2 missile that Russia is about to test? It would be powerful enough to one shot, one kill Israel, and is thought to be able to do damage on a scale to a country the size of france because it can haul a 750 megaton warhead and fling it so goddamn fast that radar won't be able to see it until its too late, thus it can penetrate any known missile defense shield.

now that we do have them, nobody has felt the need to try and make a bigger bomb, so we're still stuck at 50-100 until someone decides to go bigger, and either not test it to keep it secret, but risk not even having a working warhead, or test it and have literally everyone know about it instantly and react accordingly

Just use your head and look at the reality of the situation, there is no diplomatic effort, no military pressure, no attempt at all to stop a percieved nuclear program which should lead you to conclude that it's either non-existent or not a substantial threat.
