They had a custodial view of the lower races, like England did in their colonies overseas. That view slowly warped into the white man's burden we have today.
I think climate change is a hoax just by the way government approaches it. There's a million things they could already be doing to help, but instead they spend 100% of their time lobbying for more power over corporations. Because without totalitarian control they can't do anything about "climate warming" even though they already have organizations that can do something about this, BLM for one.
not to mention if you ask any climate alarmist for evidence the ONLY thing they have to fall back on is "muh 98% consensus" which is based on a faulty study. Many of the papers cited have nothing to do with AGW and scientists say their results were misinterpreted.
Ask them for the evidence put in laymens terms they always just point to authority, call you an idiot, and never give a laymens explanation. It's all hocus pocus as far as I'm concerned.
