Whats the name of that Scifi book thats full of illustrations showing humans and animals of the future? I remember it showing people thousands of years into the future where mankind starts genetically engineering humans to survive in different environments and on different planets.
Then it jumps forwards like millions and millions of years after space fairign humans abandoned earth and the different humans were left to fend for themselves and regressed into basically animals.
Then the space humans come back, also vastly different and changed since they left earth millions of years ago, not even knowing that this "new planet" they found is actually earth, and they start striping it for rescources.
