Shitposting and memes aside, do you actually want Trump to win?
>>
"The System" hates him. Top to bottom. Back to front. It doesn't matter what side of the hypothetical political divide anyone is on; They all want him to lose. They didn't even want to let him be the nominee and have been playing the game on both sides to try and, even if they are setting themselves up to lose the whole game, prevent him from being nominated. Some even say he'll crash the world economy or cause World War 3,000. Simply be being president, he'll bring about the end of the world*!

Sounds like my kind of president.

Let's realistically look at what the worst case scenario is.

Trump is elected. He talks about building his wall. Congress flatly refuses to fund it.
He talks about banning all muslims. Turns out this is unconstitutional and the supreme court shuts him down.
He wants to defeat ISIS.
He sends the marines over to shoot at more muslims.
He gets us bogged down in another ground war in the middle est against an indefinable enemy with no real territory, supply lines, or bases to bomb. We end up nation building in Syria for 30 years while the sauds and jews rub their hands together for getting rid of their annoying neighbors.

None of his domestic policies will pass congress. The only thing he has unilateral control over is the military and I don't give a fuck about ISIS. They are not a threat to us. Let them carve up syria and Iraq, I don't give a fuck.
Also his trade policy is going to make things worse.
Also he doesn't believe in climate change. Which, even for pol, is stretching it.
>>
>>73781782
This. Also the fact that everyone is do sure he can't win makes me want to see him in office. His presidency would cause asshurt of biblical proportions, I want to see that happen.

He's like Caesar

>A narcissistic prick who is somewhat successful in what he does, and due to his popularity is on a quest to usurp power from the establish (and ever degenerating) self serving elite.

The point is not who he is, but what it means for the system. You bring an established system which is already in a spiralling death of decay (aka self serving politicians who are propped by agenda chasing media who also sponsor self serving celebrities) and put this man in a position where he dismember this oligarchical construct.

Amidst the impending turmoil, powers will shift and decentralize, allegiances will change, and overall as the power struggle settles, often times you will find a more egalitarian environment (until people forget and become complacent and people of power begin to centralize power again for their own selfish reasons).

learn how to interpret trends.
There is a clear warming trend. It's obvious to anyone who isn't paid off by oil companies. /Pol/ is supposed to be all about uncovering conspiracy theories and shit, but you trust the guys who are on the oil companies payroll more than every other scientist out there?

Where does all this Co2 go? Co2 is a greenhouse gas. We burn fuels which give off Co2. Where is that Co2 going?
We're removing forests, oceans are warming and releasing stored Co2. Permafrost is melting and releasing frozen methane. Cows are producing methane.
Where is all this gas going?

Don't believe global warming if you don't want to, but first tell me how all this gas is just magically transported out of our atmosphere and is having no effect whatsoever.

This denial is fucking retarded. It's up there with body positivity fat acceptance in blatant disregard for facts.

There's 1000 alternatives to regime-change retard, but none give the same amount of direct power to the US. Trump is the biggest dove when it comes to foreign policy, and would much rather have nation-states with sovereignty as allies, than tyrannical monarchies that we've installed for control, but have grown so powerful, they're controlling us.

Also, his foreign policy team has absolutely no one from the neo-conservative or liberal-interventionist think-tanks found all over capital hill. You know he's doing something right if he has everyone on the Council on Foreign Relations sperging out, and actually has George Soros trying one of his "Springs" over here in the States.

marijuana growers put CO2 in the grow room to increase yields. Photosynthesis is:

6CO2 + 6H2O ------> C6H12O6 + 6O2

so for every 6mol of CO2, 6 mol of Oxygen is created.

climate change, or global warming - whichever buzzword you want to use - is a mass propaganda lie to implement carbon taxes. Once you have the power to tax the globe, you have the power to police the globe.

Kinda funny too that he just got done telling someone else to learn how to interpret trends. I wasn't a Trump supporter initially. Watched a few of the debates and thought he seemed like a pompous ass. When my mind changed about who I'd be voting for, I still didn't think all that highly of him. Noticing the trend you're talking about among those who were militantly against him is what finally drove the consideration all the way home. Imagine my delight when I started lurking this board (which I really should've done sooner, this place is fucking hilarious and pretty decently informative in its own uniquely /pol/ way) and actually looked at Trump's policies as *he's* outlined them. Talk about pleasant surprises.

I think he says a lot of stupid shit. But the stupid shit he says is mostly harmless. I also don't idolize him or think he's a particular great man.

However, I would vote for him because of the political situation in the western world today and because the established politicians on either side of the political spectrum are just going to keep going down the road of self-destruction, political correctness and self-loathing.
Trump's strong points aren't based on political insight or brilliance. It's based on his willingness to defy political correctness and to be man enough to stand up in defiance and say whatever he wants. He also seems to know how powerful America's position is in the world, and appears to be willing to use this as leverage to get other countries to do his bidding, which is something no American president has done in a very long time. The techniques he uses in debates might seem crude, but he still dominates the people around him and comes out on top because people simply can't handle him, and they end up looking confused, weak and flustered. He could say the moon is made of cheese, and he would still come out on top in a presidental debate.

America needs a bulldozer who's full of confidence and who'll never apologize, which makes Trump the best presidential candidate because he represents the opposite of the weak, pathetic, apologetic culture of self-loathing that the west has adopted over the past few decades. Maybe he can bring back some of the strength and confidence that the US used to be known for.

No, he's an international-capitalist cock-sucker. Capitalism has no moral compass, no principals. >nukes are so baaaaad, we should get rid of all our nukes while our enemies keep theirs

Nukes for Japan (and an actual military instead of the JGSDF) is a GOOD thing. Nukes are sovereignty, might is right, they give your country a lot more political clout if you have the same arms as everyone else. Let's break down end-game theory:

>Japan has no nukes, they're only part of our nuclear umbrella
>China one day decides Hiroshima wasn't enough, and sends another nuke on Tokyo
>Joint Chiefs decide to sacrifice Japan as a pawn to avoid any bombs hitting home, and also to use the event to isolate China from its allies
>no one will criticize the US for not sending nukes towards Shanghai in accordance to their nuclear umbrella agreement, they'll just focus on China instead

Japan right now is a pawn and puppet in the Pacific when it comes to US foreign policy, giving them nukes and a military actually gives them sovereignty.
Next you're gonna tell me being the US president is the same as being president of the """"""""free world"""""""".

- East Asia is an inherently unstable region, China doesn't like Japan and vice versa, both Koreas are not down to clown with one another

- Stability is afforded by American support

- Trump proposes to withdraw such support, and encourages both parties to get their own nuclear weapons

If you ever think anyone is ever going to nuke anyone else you're insane.

Nukes exist purely for MAD. Unless worst case scenario happens some terrorists/fanatics get a hold of one - nothing will ever occur.

If a country ever nukes another - it'll get sanctioned and reviled by the rest of the known world. Every missile system in existence will point in that countries direction.

Their nukes will never make it out of their nation before they get shot down.

There's no constitutional provision protecting any form of immigration, except birthright citizenship. We aren't constitutionally required to let anyone in, not restricted from keeping anyone out for any reason.

>a fucking Vox article

You don't understand, it's not that China doesn't want Japan or South Korean to have a military, it's that WE don't want them to have a military. When Japan started fucking around with their Abenomics, we clamped down on them hard, and they couldn't do a thing to stop it (both militarily and in the markets). When China starts to devalue and bypass the USD, Shanghai gets another skyscraper, and the US can't do a thing to stop them (though we're trying with TPP and continued aggression). The keypoint here is SOVEREIGNTY.

China would love to see more countries competing against the petrodollar, and maybe even joining BRICS (would screw up an already good acronym though) so that the economy isn't completely and absolutely dependent on the USD (because 2007 sure was great). Going against the IMF is another thing entirely, but the idea of a Cold War scenario wouldn't happen if Japan and Korean were actually sovereign as opposed to American forward operating bases.

So, if you don't want them to have a military, why support Trump's threat of withdrawing support for Japan and S.Korea? That only incentivises the development of a personal military. I don't understand how sovereignty is a positive thing in controlling economics from an American perspective.

China and N.Korea would still have incentive to interrupt Japanese and S.Korean nuclear developments in that case too

Trump wants to allow other nations to grow, that's why he's against so many trade deals like TPP that fucks BRICS over and cements the USD without a single regard to any citizen in any country. The global political class and economic elites are doing EVERYTHING in their power to stop him from getting power and undoing a shit ton of work they've put into the world. You're getting the current globalist president and Trump mixed up. The US now wants Japan to be under control of the US as another form of political clout towards China, Russia, and Japan itself. Trump wants Japan to have its own military so we save money and stop trying to rule the world. And sovereignty is the absolute bane of the IMF which wants to control all countries on a global scale through the USD (and eventually a single global government). Of course if you actually believe in the sovereignty of your own country and people, that ends up translating into the sovereignty of other countries through policy (Trump doesn't want to be an emperor no matter how much the shills will tell you). Like I said earlier to you, it might be hard for someone in the EU to understand sovereignty, but the US is founded upon it, and Trump is one of those believers in freedom (living through the Cold War does that to people (and countries)).

And China wouldn't care about other countries getting nukes, unless they think we're trying to pull a Japanese Missle Crisis (which is pointless considering the range of ICBMs nowadays). China is worried about the US and its allies, if it suspected that Japan was truly trying to become sovereign (laughable considering Jap politics today), you'd see a different China trying to help or at least include Japan. Do you see China giving a single shit about the DPRK?

I do, even as a Canadian. I think that, especially if he does a good job, his presence will embolden the right.

For a long time, it seems the right has been almost exclusively reactionary, following behind the actions of the left. Trump has started taking initiative and now the left is forced to respond to him. While a lot of people are skeptical of him, saying that he's just crypto-establishment or that he doesn't have any real strategies for the things he says (which may be true), I think the things he has said up to this point has at least laid groundwork for a new direction in the right.

When I say that, I think it's because of the Nationalist sentiments. For a long time, the right seems to have focused more or less entirely on economics ie: corporatism ie: globalism. Trump is the only guy on the right who seems to want to reign them in and bring work back to the US, which I think personally is outstanding.

I can only hope that the populace of the US might be able to move back to the work ethic that made you guys great in the first place, but that's a long shot imo.

He's an entertaining buffoon but I'd take him over Bernie, Hillary or 90% of the other Conservatives any day.

Ive done some of my own research into climate change so ill help explain why there is ample evidence to be skeptical of global warming. From 1880-2013 co2 in the atmosphere has doubled. You are correct in that it is staying up there in the atmosphere because creation outdoes consumption. However despite the doubling of co2 in this time period the the average global tempreture has only incresed by about 2 degrees fahrenheit. This is data from the ipcc reports btw which composes the climate change alarmists. Not the corp funded oil guys.

His ideas are great. Reading his book right now, the chapter on education is flawless.

Only the most blue-pilled of people don't realize that the world is being run by a small handful of elites.

And when all the elites and their organs hate Trump and have been trying so hard to put him down, it just goes to show that he really will be different to all the others, simply because he's not one of them.

This is what people said about Obama, and like someone else mentioned this is what they say about Sanders. He was part of the boogeyman system for the majority of his life and somehow that's magically gone in the past three years as he became a Republican and tried to distance himself from Shillary.

The fact he's not even funding his general nomination campaign when he has the best ability to do so is just the nail in the coffin is was all a ruse to trick gullible morons like you into getting swayed by unorthodox words and 4th grade rhetoric. This fucking happened with Obama twice, it happened with the Democrats regarding Sanders. I do not know why people keep falling for this over and over and over. Both candidates on either side of the playing field are pieces of shit, with Shillary having an abysmal track record in terms of ethics, and Donald flipping his views when its most convenient.

Right now the best candidate in the field with a chance is most likely Gary Johnson who will most likely be funded by Super PACs if a miracle was bestowed upon him, but at least his platform is more rooted in his policies instead of LE UNORTHODOX WORDS!!1!!1!!11!1!!!1!1

As long as Hillary isn't president, I'm happy. She's mired in scandal and her loyalty is to her paycheck, which comes from banks and corporations.
Anything
But
Hillary

maybe, sometimes. I just don't like how they try and throw him under the bus.

Regardless, it was another example of a candidate who had a different form of rhetoric, swayed a bunch of gullible imbeciles into voting for him then buying into the system. It happened with Obama, it's definitely going to happen Trump (to an extent already has).

Someone like Trump becoming the nominee is an anomaly that hasn't happened since Eisenhower. Your comparison to Obama is completely disingenuous and unfounded and misses the point of the post you originally responded to.

Despite how much /pol/ hates everyone who isn't a straight white male, having a literal racist running a country as powerful as the US is extremely dangerous.

>B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-but he never said he HATES Muslims.

Openly admitting you want to ban an entire group of people from being in your country is a pretty good indication you don't really like that group of people. I'm all for vigorous background checks on Muslims entering the country, but straight up not allowing them access, nah man.

no one gave a shit when barack banned iraqi refugees from entering the us for 6 months in 2011. when there is a security threat you take different precautions. face it, you love wars and state control....when it is the left in charge.
