And in reference to the germans vs russians - at the time it was the lesser of two evils. But even that by a slim margin. The usual staying is that "At least the germans had hygene" - that is the amount of preferance to germans over russians at the time.
And the communism argument? Latvians on average had 42% higher production rate per capita than other soviet teritorries. We supported communism due to being able to own at least SOMETHING after serfdom.
As for the lavish villas and mansions built? Nobody thinks that we lived there, in one of our uprisings we actually made the mistakes of burning them down in blind anger, that later came around to bite us in the ass.

False. Germans had serfs and freemen just as we had serfs and freemen. Up until the 1700s nationality wasn't really an issue, what mattered was your bloodline. And by the 1700s we were already under Russian rule - but the Russians left the German aristocracy in place so until the russification began, the average Estonian couldn't even perceive the difference between German, Swedish or Russian rule.

False. The majority of the population in Estonian cities, even Hansa cities, was always Estonian. The Germans were only a majority in the upper classes.
While there was some mixing on both sides and German was the lingua franca, there was never really a "Germanization" that took place here. They saved that for the Pommeranians and Sorbs.

Finland is only going to get worse, because our cucklords still look up to Sweden, and want Finland to be like western Europe.
