I work in the oil and gas industry.
Unfortunately all the Saudis have to do to have oil reach the surface is basically just stick a straw in the ground. Thats why they can still profit off like $20/barrel, where as in the US we need it to be $60-$80/barrel just to break even due to the millions we have to spend on drilling rigs and fracking pumps to extract it from 20,000 feet beneath the ground.
