I don't know about the rest of my country but in my school we were taught both sides of the story. The fact that he fixed the economy, was an animal rights activist, for the working class and anti banker. They go on to say that this is why he rose to power, they also explain the reason he invaded at the start of the war to reclaim lost German land and it wasn't just blind aggression. Then they finish it all of by demonising him by bringing up the holocaust.
So most normies that I know have different view of him, most people see him as a bit evil because of the gas chambers and what not but they also recognise the fact that he did great things for his country and for his people.
