>thinks impeaching Dilma stops corruption
>thinks the new president will cancel Dilma's social plans (bolsa familia, etc)
>thinks the protests against the impeachment are much bigger than those in favor of (1 million protestants in favor vs 30k against the impeachment)
>thinks that by putting a neoliberalism supporter in place of a "socialist" isnt going to attract investments to the country
>doesnt know the constitution, said the impeachment is illegal
>criticizes everyone that isn't the government for being investigated for corruption, while most of Dilma's allies are being investigated and convicted for corruption
>won a Pulitzer prize, but didnt deserve it
>hes a communist and criticizes the rich instead of doing something to improve the poverty in the country
>isnt brazilian

m8 r u saying that we should become commies?

Can you point to where in the transcript he says those things? I get the feeling that once you saw he was a leftist who was pro-Dilma that you then exaggerated his positions in your mind without reading it.

>thinks impeaching Dilma stops corruption
Why would he think this when he is pro-Dilma and believes the opposition is more corrupt? Did you mix up what he does believe and doesn't believe?

>won a Pulitzer prize, but didnt deserve it
he did a good job reporting on the NSA stuff

>Why would he think this when he is pro-Dilma and believes the opposition is more corrupt? Did you mix up what he does believe and doesn't believe?
sorry, i meant to write that he thinks the impeachment will stop corruption investigations because corrupts are going to be in power and will stop the investigations.

>And to sit here and witness the utter dismantling of a democracy, which is exactly what is taking place, by the richest and most powerful people in the society, using their media organs that masquerade as journalistic outlets
>But now the realization is starting to sink in that what this really is about is two things: one, installing as president and the controlling faction in Brasília a group of people who believe in very pro-business, neoliberal ideology, that want to dismantle core social programs that have been constructed over the last 20 years, and which, on its own, could never be accepted by the majority of Brazilian voters; and secondly, what it’s about is empowering the very people in Brasília who actually are corrupt, who actually have stolen money, huge amounts of money, and squandered it away in foreign bank accounts and used it to buy second and third and fourth homes in the names of other people. The actually corrupt thieves in Brasília, it’s about empowering them so they can protect themselves and kill the corruption investigation.

>I think the only thing that can save her at this point is if Brazilian elites realize that there’s going to be too high of a cost to be paid by removing her and then installing the very corrupt, implicated, neoliberal nonentity of a vice president, Michel Temer, which is their current plan. If they come to believe that following through on their plan will cause lots of public protest, disruption, instability, especially as the Olympics is approaching, in a way that could damage this plan to reattract foreign capital back into Brazil

read the part about Cunha.

>you’re starting to see civil disobedience, instability, increasingly violent protest

the protest in March 13th wasnt violent and was very organized, no violence, etc. the protests today against the impeachment had protestants beating journalists, confronting the police and blocking important streets with barricades.
>>
>>73644806
the protests in march 13th were against Dilma and her party being in power.

Well to be fair despite much of the PT being implicated in corruption there has been little proof of corruption directly involving Dilma herself while there is lots of evidence indicating Temer is corrupt so even if both parties full of corrupt people its logical to think Temer would move to protect himself from investigation if he was president.

>Eduardo Cunha is the person most responsible for the impeachment proceeding taking place in the house. He’s the one who made the decision to allow it to happen. And then he, in one of the most shameless acts ever seen in modern politics, actually presided over the impeachment proceeding, even though Eduardo Cunha—and as you described him, you kind of understated not just the level of his corruption, but the proof of it—he was actually caught. The investigators found Swiss bank accounts that he owns and controls, with millions of dollars in them. He has no source of wealth beyond corruption and bribery. He doesn’t have businesses. He’s been in public life for a long time. He lied last year when he testified to congressional investigators and said he has no foreign bank accounts in his name, and then they were subsequently discovered. You have government informants who have testified that actually the amount of bribes he’s received and kickbacks he’s received is in the many, many, many millions of dollars, tens of millions of dollars, not just the $5 million they found in the Swiss bank account.

Seems like Cunha is corrupt m8, I know both parties are but I don't see how Cunha can be regarded as credible or not corrupt.

afaik he also said that the interim speaker of the House decided to cancel the process which was voted in the House in April. luckily, the interim decided to cancel his decision to cancel, allowing it to be voted on the Senate tomorrow without any impass.

he didn't, however, show that Waldir Maranhão is being investigated in Lava Jato for money laundering and misrepresentation, and there are people who can confirm that we took part in corruption schemes.

Removing the commies now will make the country worse in the long run.

>there has been little proof of corruption directly involving Dilma herself while there is lots of evidence indicating Temer
Neither have proof, and both have evidences. Dilma as president can't be investigated for acts outside of her mandate (and because the laws are retarded, it's the current mandate starting 2015). And even so the union's general attorney already requested the supreme court for her to be investigated. As soon as she leaves the presidency she will be investigated by her acts as one of Petrobras directors (especially related to pasadena refinery) and crimes related to her 2014 election campaign.

Not to mentioned there have been a lot of acts from the worker's party to prevent car wash. Just today the congress refused to vote a leniency act made by her and a deputy from her party that would allow the accused contractors to make a deal with the executive directly which would allow them to keep working for the government without the need to deal with the investigators and the judiciary.

I have German acquaintances on facebook that I met down in Brazil. They are beyond cucked and believe their opinion is so important and morally righteous. They have been making posts with the same complaints as this guy regarding Dilma's impeachment. It's infuriating and laughable at the same time.
>>
He's a faggot, literally and figureatively.
>>
>>73643293
Glenn Greenwald is a cuck who can't understand why the leftist media stopped caring about muh Iraq and muh Afghanistan when Obama became president.
>>
>>73648306
here's what you have to know:

>impeachment is for deciding if there was a crime or not, and investigate it
>it isnt a coup because coups have no polling and act against the constitution. the impeachment doesnt act against the constitution
>Temer's government will have the guy that "fixed" Brazil in 2008's crisis as Minister of Finances. he rejected joining the office with Dilma being president.
>he was president of the Central Bank when he "fixed" Brazil
>>
Why the fuck should we care what a foreign libcuck thinks of us again?

Vai ter golpe sim e se reclamar tem dois
>>
>>73649178
because people think we are removing democracy from our country.
