You honestly can't see what's wrong with this? Branding a National Park? If I have to go to Walmart presents the fucking Hot Springs National Park for my Fourth of July I will not be a happy camper.

It's branding nature, it's advertising through names. It's stupid. So, so very stupid.

Isn't this exactly what trump wanted to do?

Selling government property and naming rights would be a common thing in trump's america.

According to trumpniggers it's a bad thing unless trump does it
>>
Disgusting.
>>
>>73598643

Some of those National Parks aren't even parks anymore, they're a fucking rip off.

I went to Yosemite and Grand Canyon last fall. They wanted anywhere from like $200-$500/night for a room. $16/night for a camping spot. Saw a bunch of rich people walking around in fur coats and shit.

This honestly sucks really fucking bad but after seeing how the parks were pretty much a high-end resort, I'm not entirely surprised, it's sad to say.
>>
>>73599938
where the fuck did Trump ever say he'd sell naming rights of national parks?
>>
Does this mean we're going to see the Budwiser Canyon?
>>
>>73599938

Trump only wants to become president so he can make a bunch of deals and get rich as fuck. You'd have to be an idiot not to see that. People like Trump will never have enough money, they'll always want more and more.

What's the problem? Takes some burden off taxpayers, as long as the companies arent buying and bulldozing these parks, I dont care if they put up a few billboards

I go camping to get away from this shit.
>>
>>73600004
A lot of the parks aren't like that though. Yosemite is shit because of how famous it is. It even has a fucking golf course. Wasn't even worth the trip there, Sequoia was better.
>>
>>73598643

>>
>>73600956
Nature, and it's preservation, upholds the beauty and history of a nation. Worthless, excessively capitalistic kikes such as yourself, are all toon happy to sell out history for a few hundred dollars. These parks preserve the beauty of our nation, our unique and historic views, and the honour of those who fought to take and defend it. Call me a hippie if you wish, but it's part of our history, and a priceless thing

Teddy Roosevelt founded the national park system to save it from being raped by corporations. This was atva time when America wasn't an oligarchy and had an effective government.
Are you calling Teddy a communist? If you are sir, then I am afraid we will have words.

I'd rather people start caring about those places to help support it. I'd rather people take some time to actually go out and understand what this land was and appreciate the history and environment of it.

I'm not a liberal hippy, I really am not a liberal hippy.

But, I go /out/ a lot. I like to learn about these places and letting corporations take this inch with the name isn't going to be good either way.

I plan on being a Geologist some day and if I have to find out which rock face will be best to carve a corporations logo into, I will lose faith in humanity.

More like you're a cuck for corporate dicking. I'm fine with corporations having ads on technology, busses, flyers, non-historic buildings. I really don't care.

I appreciate the goods and services offered, but they need to keep away from historical NATIONAL Parks.

More than anything, this concerns me greatly because it potentially makes national, government, public-owned parks beholden to private corporate sponsors.

We've already seen what happens when corporations fund museum exhibits - you end up with British Petroleum presents - "Oil - The Friendly Fuel" at an exhibit on global warming.

Where does it stop? Does my family now have to sit through a Dorito's ad before watching each of the documentary videos at Mount Rushmore? Do I have to buy a cell service subscription to gain access to the exclusive tour of Sprint Wireless presents Old Faithful?

More importantly - many state and national monuments and historical sites fall under the purview of the National Parks Service.

How long before we see The Ford® Theater, brought to you by the new F-150™ or Wal-Mart® presents The Vietnam Veterans Memorial?
