libertarians are a fuckin joke tho, any ideology with no allegiance to their home country is weak. >>73585578
I really don't see the issue. Do you have a problem with a company being able to choose who they want to serve? It's the free market. People can choose to not use fakebook if they dislike what is being shown. There are many social media outlets, or you can make one yourself.

Would you agree with the idea of a business not serving gays, lesbians, or trans people? If so, then welcome to the free market as well! No business should be forced to do said business with anyone or any group they may dislike, and these disliked individuals can then boycott said company.

Again. Welcome to the FREE MARKET!

You don't have to like it, but you have to respect the choice of an owner to do what they will with their product!

u rite senpai

although facebook (or whatever the dominate social media at the time) is somewhat a monopoly. It's never a split userbase since the population switched from emailing each other to using a platform like this to keep in contact. Either you have the majority of the population or you're a niche site for some specific purpose. Regulating it is wrong, but there should be some kind of fair advertising law. If one group wants to spend more money pushing a message then fine, but giving free advertising to specific groups is straight propaganda
>>
>>73585578
This is completely legal.

Zuckerberg is a liberal.
Zuckerberg hates conservatives.
Zuckerberg owns Facebook.
Ergo, Zuckerberg promotes liberalism and censors conservatism on Facebook.

It's a private firm.
>>
>>73587942
That's not necessarily the issue though. You're right, he has absolute free agency when it comes to his company. The issue is he's blatantly using the largest social media network in the world to perform social engineering biased towards left wing balony. This is following the IRS targeting conservatives, and those useful idiots actively suppressing right wingers. The issue is the left wing is real life evil, trying to take over the world and crush dissidents. Leftisim unchecked apparently always leads to a dictatorship. That's the issue here.
>>
>>73588400
Facebook is their own company. They have the right to choose how they want to run it. I will always be on the side of the business, left leaning or right.

>>73588459
Which is sad. I agree that both sides should be allowed to do as they wish when it comes to their businesses.
>>
>>73588493

Then why was FB so quick to deny it was happening? When will leftist pricks learn, censorship leads to backlash.
>>
>>73587689
Well in a libertarian society a coup is meaningless because federal goverment has no power.
Corporations would have to compete without government regulated monopolies.
Population and groups are the problem, people would unite to gain advantage over other groups, then we end up back with representative democracy with all it's corruption, mass immigration only exacerbates it.

I am for ethnonationalism but the programming has really taken with my generation(1992) and it looks set to continue with the next, I think when the generations after that grow up hearing how their countries used to be white and theirs we will see white tribalism again.

>>
>>73587942
All we are saying is that they shouldn't lie and say they're pro free speech. If they all openly admitted that they were silencing right-leaning opinions, then we'd be ok with it (since their user base would dwindle down to nothing then go bankrupt)
>>
>>73588672
They have the right to do as they want. If the people (you) have an issue with it, then boycott the company and no longer use their product. It's that simple. Facebook is not at all wrong in this, as a business should be allowed to run as they see fit. You, as a consumer, are also allowed to no longer use their product. That's how these things should work.
>>

Facebook is to big that really it should be turned into a public facility and administered by the government. Something that big can have adverse effects if misused.
>>
>>73585668
This is not entirely true.
It's a foolish company that gets involved with political advertising as its a murky grey business.
There are laws which state you must stipulate to the public if an ad is political in nature in Australia.
Here's where it gets really tricky, if the content is political in nature by law you must provide equal access to broadcast under Australian law meaning private media companies CAN'T veto media they own.
I'm sure the USA has similar rules.

By allowing political 'adverts' and content to happen via his platform he has essentially become a broadcaster and pre election media laws should apply to him and his company.
As everyone on facebook's opinion can't match his own the content cannot be dismissed as zuckerbergs personal opinion.

>Well in a libertarian society a coup is meaningless because federal goverment has no power.

are you suggesting not having a centralized government to handle foreign and military affairs? Or a supreme court? That's the bare minimum (and what the constitution regulated) for a federal government and yet that alone would be enough to coup or subvert a country. Either slowly through the courts, or quickly with the military.

In that world you would need a heavily armed (easy) AND highly motivated population (not easy) to stop that from happening. Who's going to stop them if 95% of your population is obese and weak from all that freedom?

I love the idea of libertarianism, but it's too easy to take advantage of. I agree with the rest of your post. When people look at these nordic "democrat socialist" countries they exclude the fact that they are mostly homogeneous small countries. As if that applies to such a massive continent of the united states. The sheer amount of bureaucracy involved to make sure everyone is following the rules alone would bankrupt us.

I still don't see the issue, and I'm not saying they aren't in the wrong when it comes to some consumer complaints. The fact is that if you, as a consumer, dislike it, then you should boycott them to the point where it hurts their revenue. Crying about it won't get you anywhere unless you're willing to put in work.

But I still feel that from a company standpoint - facebook did nothing wrong. They are catering to their chosen clientele.

Sorry, but freemarket is freemarket. I won't hate facebook for their actions. It is the same as not hating Target for their choice to allow transgenders to use their bathroom of choice, or for any business to have the right to not cater to gays/lesbian weddings. It's all under the pro-business umbrella.

Soros invested in the Chicago Trump Tower

>On October 16, 2004, Donald Trump and Hollinger International, the parent company of the Chicago Sun-Times, completed the $73 million sale of the former home of the newspaper a week after it relocated. On October 28, 2004, Trump held a ceremony to begin the demolition of the former Sun-Times Building. The demolition and construction were financed by a 650-million-dollar loan from Deutsche Bank and a trio of hedge fund investors who represented George Soros as one of their sources of funds.

Globalist Jewry has imposed equality as religion and all speaking against it as heresy for the purpose creating a world of mongrels who only have allegiance to money, and are thus easily manipulable slaves.

We live in the time of the greatest empire the world has ever seen. The global Jewish empire of capital makes Ancient Rome look like some ludicrous municipality in comparison, even more-so in the division between our new "aristocrats" in one of their countless penthouses or boats, and the slaves who don't even know they are slaves.

It is an empire where the masters remain hidden because they've learned that being more visible can only be a liability, and thanks to technology, they don't need to parade themselves around for public approval, they can just use surrogate politicians to keep stoking the hope of people and absorbing the blame of their never-improving lives.
