it's a direct response to SJW culture and politics, but /pol/ happens to be self-aware
whatever is typed can be responded to without a hive-mind dictating what can be said, like reddit
there's also is no popularity contest, everyone can have an opinion and it will be judge by merit of what is typed, as a result /pol/ is very anti-authoritarian and idol worship is non-existent, unlike facebook, twitter, etc
like what you said OP, /pol/ can be described like that, but it's a very naive to say that's all that it is, it's the last place where taboo questions can be asked and where inconvenient truths can be talked about
it's sad that this is the only place in society where freedom of thought is prevalent

but notice,
the sissies are so quick to change the topic. Literally one after the other in synchronicity, they ignore the fact that this whole board is cancer. There is ZERO political discussion going on here. You would be more informed by watching television.
I hope whoever owns this website will see this and work to make this place one where actual discussion regarding politics takes place.

>hatever is typed can be responded to without a hive-mind dictating what can be said
except that only happens in a few threads. Anyone within a few hours on /pol/ will quickly realize its no different from stormfront.
>it's the last place where taboo questions can be asked
4 you maybe

Have some 4chan gold, good sir. *tips fedora*

>but /pol/ happens to be self-aware
what I mean by self-aware is that /pol/ reacts to what the culture is and points out and discusses what's wrong or what's right, it's never static and it's always changing and it adapts
this is very different that SJW's because they are hard-line lefties (commies, socialists, feminists, etc.), even if they are wrong in their minds they are always right, it's a lack of self-awareness
>>73559410
well you must be a newfag, 4 years ago /pol/ was literally had a hard-on for Ron Paul and everyone was a fedora tipping atheist libertarian
>>73559671
from what I hear /pol/ was always natsoc. This can't even be proved so why bring it up?
