Me too and I agree, late 80s and early 90s were fun. I didn't have a games console and used to play outside all the time with friends. Kids now have a shit life, most of it spent indoors on electronic devices. This generation will never get to experience the freedom and explore like we did. It made us better people being out making decisions and taking risks without the constant gaze of parents

I remember leaving the house at 7.30 am on school holidays, coming home for lunch then going out until teatime then out again after tea. Everyday no matter the weather. Playing football with some friends at field then a few of us would go the woods and start a fire then maybe go and work on someone's bike. Then maybe annoy some girls, get chased by some older lads. Call past your friends house to get him to join you. Occasionally getting in trouble for bits of mischief. Venture into other areas to meet other kids we knew, sometimes get along sometimes fall out but we did it all ourselves, no adults checking our every move, if you had to call home you reversed the charges from a phone box. Really glad I grew up at a time before social media and mobile phones.
