It's going to be absolute garbage, but for reasons unrelated to the nigger.
People play these games running around, doing whatever they want, which is not how WW1 combat worked. The only way around this is to completely ignore trench warfare and attrition, which they will likely do.
The cool thing about wars involving a number of factions is that the variety of equipment used is fantastic, but they likely won't capitalize on this. They'll have dozens of automatic weapons in the hands of common infantry, which are perfectly accurate, to appease their playerbase.
Artillery is the only real 'vehicle' I can see being employed. Tanks were slow and cumbersome, but a serious force on the battlefield. Helicopters were not used. Jets were not used.
I can't see this game being any good.
Verdun has an excellent attack/defend system in place, and I think Battlefield just wants their share of the WW1 market.
