In my first week here there was a "comedy show" in I went to see and it was in fact just two """native""" Americans lecturing a group of students about how white people are raping their culture. They said the high rates of rape of native american women is because white men sexualize their women, such as on Land O'Lakes butter. They also went on a big rant about cultural appropriation and how wearing mocassins is akin to spitting on their ancestors' graves. Worst part of this was that a bunch of international students were there too and I heard some white girl lean over to her chinese fob friend and say "oppression, that's all you need to know about America and its history"

I think that unless you're on some sort of great scholarship that you're better off just going to community college or learning a trade desu. Although if you're going into some high paying STEM field or something like that then it is definitely worth the cost. I had to take out federal loans since I'm poor.
I worked 10 years before going to school and payed taxes. Also plan on paying back into the system when I get a sweet job with my hopefully valuable computer engineering degree. Its as much my money as it is yours and I plan to pay back my fair share of funds i've used. If it wasn't for loans, I would be stuck in my dead end job that i was in before and also probably in the long term pay less in taxes than I would now.
Obviously I'm biased, but still I have no issues with federal loans if the student is likely to pay back into the system they used. I would say get rid of federal loans for people using it to go study basketweaving or something where there is very little chance of them paying back into the pool after they're done with school.

I remember in a sociology course I signed up for and the topic was homelessness and one guy dared mentioned that maybe some homeless people are hooked on drugs and their situation is the result of their own failures. In America, you have your core classe that are from the departments of your major and minor emphasis, plus any 'required supporting courses' the department outsources. Think math classes for physics, etc.
Then, you have liberal arts requirments which can be very specific (everyone had to take English 100 and 200 at my college, for example), or very broad (Take a science class not from your major or minor's department)
after that, there's a requirement on total credit hours, some of which may or may not be required to be at a certain level. No more than half of my "extras" could be below the 300 level.
For the requirements with very broad latitude, students are generally encouraged to take things they don't know much about and/or find interesting, but aren't particularly relevant to there degrees.

Elective courses are such a fucking scam though. My university required students to take a certain number of credits from various fields, regardless of your degree. So while I was studying biology, I still had to take x credits from a social science, for instance.
And that's how they fucking get you. That's how these indoctrination schemes work. Maybe the higher level courses are different, but all the entry-level courses were cultural marxist bullshit. And they purposefully made these sorts of classes super-easy in order to persuade students into taking them, thereby getting indoctrinated with these retarded beliefs and ideologies. I remember taking an anthropology course expecting to learn about interesting tribal people and human nature and all that, and all I got was a bunch of bullshit on how race and gender don't exist. Some other humanities course I took was just about how there are no differences between men and women, and that you should breastfeed your child until the age of 6. After I took that freshman year, I knew to stay away from that sort of stuff. But my friends took easy A's like women's studies and sociology and told me all about it. Same shit. Although still not as bad as the shit I hear is going on in colleges today.
I did have ONE professor who was pretty based though. Took an introductory philosophy course where we discussed Plato's Republic. Also discussed Marx and Freud, and he shit all over those slimy kikes.

So I went to school from 2003 to 2009. I changed majors a couple times. Anyways, I was a psy major and at one point I took this Child Psychology class.
This teacher was a black lady and she taught the class on a Freudian basis. So she taught us a bunch of refutable shit that had no business in science.
Anyways the examples are too long to list. I should have dropped the class but there was a girl I liked... Stupid me, I never even hooked up with the chick so whatever. But this was before all the SJW buzzwords took effect. I'm sure this lady is full SJW now

That's because math and science actually take hard work. The problem-glasses-wearing libcucks all infest the easier majors and the elective courses.
The same logic can be applied to hobbies. SJWs have taken over comics and are in the process of taking over video games, etc etc etc. This is easy to do because it's easy for someone to just be a "part of" video game culture.
Meanwhile, a hobby like lifting will NEVER fall to SJWs because it takes hard work and determination. And you can physically see who's actually a part of it and who's not.

my uni was a 50/50 mix of engineers/science people and normalfag majors. We had surprisingly little sjwing going on. I still have friends back there as grad students and it's ramped up over the past two years or so.
Nobody really ever talked politics but I had a shitload of crazy christians get up in my face about converting to some BS feel good protestant crap. That was particularly a thing with the international (chinese) grad students. It seems like they suddenly all became jesus freaks upon arival.

A big reason they have these Women's, Chicano, African 'studies' programs is they can hire their quota of women/minority faculty, while leaving the real programs mostly intact.
