What's the best pro-right wing literature?
What's the best pro-left wing literature?
What's the best anti-right wing literature?
What's the best anti-left wing literature?

I'm also just interested in learning about the histories of the (American) democratic and republican parties. I'm tired of basically only having meme type knowledge of politics and I actually want to be well educated on both big sides of the fence, you know?
>>
>>73479492
Left-right paradigm is absolute bullshit, both parties are full of hypocrites.
>>
What you should be studying is the dynamics of the memetic divide and how the codependency between them is exploited to prop up such an outrageous power structure that they continually fight over.
>>
Just go read The Virtue of Selfishness and shut the fuck up until you've finished

Here is a collection of books by a really smart lef-winger. See if any of them interest you, or better yet, trigger you, and read that.

About right wing, I would suggest The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith.

>What's the best pro-right wing literature?

This is the same answer for "what is the best anti-left wing literature. For left wing literature, the usual suspects are easy to find:
>Marx
>Laclau & Mouffe
>Frankfurt School
>Critical Theorists
>Jameson, Adorno, Gramsci

>Adam Smith.
>right wing
He was the Left-wing of his day; he's considered classical liberal today. David Ricardo, Charles Comte, and Charles Dunoyer are worth reading too. The latter two were who Marx plagiarized, adding a vanguard militiancy, and dialectical materialism he bastardized and appropriated from Hegel.

This, and also Fear and Loathing on the Canpaign Trail 72 and Better Than Sex, both by Hunter S Thompson. Better Than Sex is his Bill Clinton book, and its hilarious

Classical Liberalism is right wing moron

The word Liberal/Liberalism lost all meaning in US politics cause the left took it all over and abused its ideas

no .. its even right wing to a right winger lol

I mean if you don't realize that there is a difference in how the term is used in the US compared to the rest of the world nobody can help you

Thats why i like to say "left/leftists" instead of "liberal" because saying liberal makes not much sense

>17th century laissez-faire is right wing to a right winger
That's the first I've ever heard anyone argue that. It
s even more interesting that you feel so confident. The political culture of Europe has become very Alice in Wonderland. What are some examples of "right-wingers" from your perspective?
>i mean if you don't realize its different in the US...
>speaks to me as if terms are universal, absolute, and given
OK. It's funny when people struggle to be smug while contradicting themselves in the same post. It's obvious we have two very different rubrics to operate from, which is the only real given in International politics.
>i say leftist because liberal makes no sense
left-right implies a frame of reference, liberal is very specific. Maybe this is one of those continental vs. anglosphere philosophical/semantic mistranslations.
