the word "socialist" in "national socialist" was used in the societal sense and not the economic sense.
The NSDAP did have welfare programs, but they were all completely sustainable and functional (because they didn't have niggers back then). They are not a socialist in the modern sense, not by a long shot.
Hitler often spoke of the "Volksgemeinschaft" or the "unity of the people" in Germany. This is what his "socialism" was aimed at. It wasn't "throw money at poor people to make them rich and productive".
