The way he phrased the comments about Mexicans in his announcement speech made it sound like he was talking about all mexicans, and him mitigating by saying that "some, (he) assumes, are good people". He was talking about illegals but he can be quoted as saying certain things that sound pretty bad. Just remind them that he isn't a professional politician with speechwriters and he's allowed to misspeak just like the rest of us.
