I had a Trump button on my backpack. Some faggy kid stole it and ran away before I could hit him.
Luckily, they come in sets of 2. So I put the new one on, but also inserted a sewing needle that's a two-fold system:
1) If you try to rip off the button with brute force, it'll get stuck between the needle
2) The tip of the needle is positioned so that if you try to take it out normally, you'll get stabbed
Thoughts? Other ideas to secure it? Anyone else a victim of aggression against your political beliefs here?

My other idea was to put a small piece of paper on the back of the button and cut off a piece of a spare motherboard (I own a computer repair business) and tape it to the paper, then write "I know where you live now". But there's too many logistical complications

Tasers are a bit pricy, but the capacitor and charging circuit used for the flash on a disposable camera can usually be picked up for free out of the recycling bin of any place that still develops film.
You can rig the pin up to shock the shit out of anyone that touches both sides at the same time by using foil tape (or just tin foil and glue) to create two halves of a circuit on the back side of the pin. When someone goes to grab it they complete the circuit with their hand, discharging it.
