Is population growth bad? My country's population is expected to be 130 million in 2050. I think 50-60 million population would've been better for small country like the Philippines, since 70 million people are below poverty line.

That trend ended in the 80's. We now have birth control education and free condoms, abortion is an exception though.

Yes, it's bad. The global population grows by about 1.1% every year. Which is about 81 million people.
There are very few countries with declining populations and the second any country drops below breaking even the politicians freak the fuck out because programs like social security depend on having enough young people to pay for all the old people.
In response, they start propagandizing to the people about spitting out more babbies or just import niggers who have a ridiculous population growth rate in Africa. And niggers will just step up their reproduction to match the people who leave so you don't even help Africa with this.
The result is that global population size will continue to grow uncontrollably. And we're already starting to feel the negative effects.
The more people you have the more resources you have to exhaust to keep them all alive. And the bottleneck is fuel. The more people you have, the more fuel you have to burn to grow the food, produce the electricity, or just drive them to and from work every day.
We've already started to deplete the fuel we have and the more we use the more we pollute the air and drive our entire species into extinction.
And it's even worse than that because more and more countries are becoming modern industrialized countries. Which means their needs for power and fuel increase even with no change in population.
We're in a huge population bubble and unless something changes, it's going to pop.

Where I live untreated sewage is cleaner than Pasig River, Sana'a is literally running out of water and groundwater levels are dropping in large areas (Syria, India, ....)
Inevitably when those places run dry or are too contaminated a ton of people from these regions will show up in Europe and demand money, housing, ... While a majority of Europeans' answer would be "fuck off, you fucked it up now live with the consequences", that is unfortunately not reflected in policy.
